I am from India.
2. How long have you been with ADPP?
I have been with ADPP for 3 years.
3. What is your childcare background and experience?
I have a degree in Early Childhood Education. I also have a Masters teaching
permit and site supervisor permit from California State. I also have a
Bachelor’s Degree in Science. I have about 8 years of experience in
teaching.
4. What do you like most about your job?
I like to provide fun activities and let the children explore, discover and
learn.
5. What do you think is special about your ADPP
location?
The Moorpark atmosphere is friendly and welcoming for parents, teachers and
kids.
6. What is your favorite part of the day
at ADPP?
I enjoy each part of the day whether it’s art, music, science,
academics, or free play.
7. What is the last book you read out
loud?
Where the Wild Things Are.”
8. What is the book you read to yourself?
The Twilight Saga Eclipse.
9. What is the funniest thing a child has
said/done in your class?
I was helping a child to clean his nose and the child asked
me, “Can you tell my mom to give me allergy pills?” He told me allergy pills
are not disgusting and that you just drink it and it’s gone.
10. What do you do in your spare time?
I like to spend time with my family. I also enjoy shopping
for my house.
11. What achievement are you most proud of?
I am most proud of providing a good foundation for the children’s learning
skills and building confidence and independence.
12. What should children look forward to
doing/learning in Junior Kindergarten?
The children should look forward to becoming independent, developing social
and emotional skills, and learning how to read and write by having fun.
13. What is the single best piece of
advice you can give parents of Junior Kindergartners?
Make learning fun and enjoy it with them. Don’t force your child to learn.
14. Do you have any healthy lunch ideas?
Chicken fruit salad.
15. Do you have any learning to read
tips or other useful tips?
Zoo phonics is an excellent kit and it’s fun for the kids to learn. Reading
to the child everyday will help too.
