I have been with ADNPP for 12 years.
3. What is your teaching background and experience?
I started at Phelan 12 years ago and am still here!
4. What do you like most about your job?
I like all the children!.
5. What do you think is special about your ADNPP
location?
The diversity of our children and the staff is very special.
6. What is your favorite part of the day at ADNPP? Why?
My favorite part of the day is circle time. I get to really connect with my
children.
7. What is the last book you read out loud?
If You’re Angry and You Know It! By Cecily Kaiser and Cary Pillo.
8. What is the funniest thing a child has said to you?
One time, a child said to me, “Ms. Nancy, I can’t hear you because I have
wax in my ears.”
9. What do you do in your spare time?
I like to spend time with my family.
10. What achievement are you most proud of?
I am most proud of helping my non-English speaking students learn English.
11. What should children look forward to doing/learning
in preschool?
The children should look forward to having a lot of fun with their friends.
12. What is the single best piece of advice you can give
parents of preschoolers?
Have a lot of patience and smile.
13. Do you have any healthy lunch ideas?
Fresh tofu which is something my children like.

Sing the alphabet song with your children.
